The six temporary food, event and sports venues set up around the lake and in town this summer in Geneva have been hailed a great success.

A total of 120,000 people visited the different locations.

It's a success "that's confirmed year after year", say the authorities.

The most successful were Canopée; a relaxation and sports area along the lake in Eaux-Vives, and the Buvette Cormoran; offering drinks and stand-up performances on the Pâquis side. They attracted 42,000 and 38,000 people respectively.

L'Asphalte, a zone dedicated to urban sports under the old Jonction halls, also enjoyed great success, with almost 16,000 users.

The venues will return next year.
