The City of Geneva is auctioning off old street signs this month.
You could own signs that mark out well known, and less well-known streets and areas of the city.
The signs will be on the auction site, Ricardo.ch. Prices will start at CHF 50 and bids will move up in CHF 5 increments.
The signs are the old models, many were replaced in the 1990s.
For a well-known street or square, be prepared to pay a thousand or so. In 2015 a similar auction saw signs for the Place du Bourg de Four sell for CHF 2,000, and the rue De Candolle for CHF 1,000.
