Geneva public transport workers are threatening to strike.
Members of the Transport Staff Union have overwhelmingly voted to walk out by the end of January if negotiations with the TPG management and the canton are unsuccessful.
They’re demanding a pay rise of 1.2% and 57 positions on the reserve drivers list to cover for absentees.
A union spokesman told the press they have been making the same demand for the past five years and have made no real progress.
