A Geneva police inspector has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
The officer was taken into custody last week and interviewed by other officers and the Attorney General.
It’s thought the incident dates back to 2019 during a drunken evening.
The victim is accusing the police officer of rape, sexual coercion and home invasion.
No charges have yet been filed and the defendant is back at work.
