Geneva calls for homeworking and masks at markets

The Geneva president Serge Dal Busco says masks will need to be worn when at the Christmas markets and during the Escalade races - although not for the runners.

At a press conference yesterday, he also said there will be testing at the schools and he recommends home working as much as possible and has lifted the 40% limit that applied to those who work for the canton.

He says a decision on what rules will apply for the Escalade Parade later in the month will be announced next week.

The cantonal doctor, Aglaé Tardin says it’s not recommended to mix vaccines for the booster shot. She says boosters are essential to fight the fifth wave – but the booster should be the same as the first two doses.
