In an effort to encourage cycling - and get many parked bikes off the streets, it’ll be free to use several bike parking stations around Geneva for the first 24 hours.
Currently it costs between 50 centimes to CHF 2 to keep a bike at a Vélostation for a day.
The scheme will apply to 14 stations. Many near Léman Express train stops and the university. Although the bike park at Cornavin will not be included.
The scheme will start on May 15th.
