Roadworks on the autoroute at the Palexpo in Geneva are set to continue until at least 2028.
It’s due to having to strengthen pipes installed 7 years ago - as they’ve been found to be defective.
Geneva Industrial Services has launched legal proceedings against the construction firm. It’s also having to spend another CHF 80m to avoid further delays.
Four contracts worth nearly CHF 30m have already been awarded.
It’s hoped traffic disruption will be minimal.
