A gas leak closed off a large part of central Geneva yesterday morning.
The leak was detected on the rue de la Croix-d’Or under a building which was being renovated.
Streets around the area, including the Place Longemalle and Place du Molard had to be sealed off for around 10 hours.
The fire service fixed the problem at about 11am yesterday.
