Geneva's State Council says security measures put in place during the G7 summit were effective in preventing violence and damage.
Enhanced border controls led to eleven entry bans, nearly 120 seizures, and around forty people being turned back.
Authorities confiscated hundreds of items, including knives, axes, batons, pyrotechnics and other objects considered potentially dangerous.
The government says the operation significantly reduced the ability of violent groups to act.
