The Geneva Diabetes Association is launching a three-day programme to test as many people they can in a drive to highlight the risks of the disease.
The association points out that half the population eat far too much sugar, which can cause type 2 diabetes.
They say there are many people who have diabetes, but they don’t know it. Early detection can prevent a range of health problems later.
The tests are available at the Place des Augustins for three days, Thursday 6th to Saturday 8th June from 09:30 am to 6:30pm.
