Free diabetes testing in Geneva

You can be tested for diabetes in Geneva for free over the next few days.

A centre has been set up on the rue de Vélodrome in Jonction.

It’s being run by the association Diabète Genève. The group has tested over 10,000 since 2016.

It’s worth getting a test as they say the pre-diabetic state can last for as long as ten years. If it’s caught early, it can be treated – or even reversed.

It’s recommended that everyone over 35 is tested once a year.

The testing centre is open from today until Saturday between 9.30am and 7pm.
