A Geneva prison officer is now on the wrong side of the gates.
The man was working for the short term all male wing, La Brenaz, next to the main Champs Dollon complex in Geneva.
He was arrested last week, accused of providing drugs and mobile phones to the inmates.
A whistle-blower, an inmate, gave him away. The Public Prosecutors’ Office has ordered his pre-trial detention.
The inmate who gave him away has been moved to another prison after he was threatened.
