Over the weekend, Geneva marked the first death on the roads this year.
Police say a 24-year-old motorcyclist was on the Route de Verbois heading toward the dam when he swerved and crashed.
Emergency services arrived quickly, but he was declared dead at the scene.
Police have opened an investigation and are asking for witnesses.
