A hacking group, known to have close links with Russia, launched a cyber attack yesterday against the Federal Administration – taking some websites down.
The ‘NoName’ group admitted to the attack.
It’s thought it was linked to the attendance of the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to the World Economic Forum’s meeting in Davos.
Hackers launched a Denial of Service Attack on the system. It was expected by the Federal Office of Cyber Security which issued a press release a week ago urging IT operators to be prepared.
Services were restored quickly and authorities say no data was stolen.
