The government is considering allowing the use facial recognition technology at airports, which would allow passengers to pass through security and board the aircraft without paper or electronic tickets.
It would also permit airport workers to access secure areas without passes.
The issue is one of several aviation amendments being considered.
There will still be alternatives available to people who don’t want to use biometric data.
