Several communes near Geneva Airport have launched legal action against night flights.
16 municipalities, in Geneva, Vaud and France, are fighting a new agreement the airport has reached with canton Geneva.
They claim the new agreement is too weak to control flights between 10pm and 6am. They say there are 26 aircraft movements every night on average.
They hope the airport and the canton will come up with a stronger agreement.
