Record numbers, and a younger crowd, are set for the Geneva Marathon this year.
Organisers say 27,500 runners will take part across eight races on May 9th and 10th, marking the event’s 20th edition.
Among the top names are wheelchair star Marcel Hug, who lines up fresh from his London Marathon win.
In the half marathon, Brian Kipchumba faces Switzerland’s Morgan Le Guen and France’s Hassan Chahdi.
Organisers also highlight a shift in demographics. The average runner is now 36, down from 41 just a few years ago - showing the event is attracting a new generation.
