The summer music season is coming up – and festival organisers are warning about the dangers of fake tickets.
The Swiss French Consumers Federation has joined forces with the organisers to launch ‘Ticket Check’.
The campaign urges festival goers to only buy tickets from authorized outlets – and never from strangers.
The grey market – which often has tickets for vastly inflated prices – is legal in Switzerland, so it’s difficult to limit the practice.
But ticket hunters are being urged if they spot a clearly fake ticket or offer to report it to the consumer federation.
