The Parliamentary Transport Commission is calling on the Federal Council to prioritize improving the autoroute running from Le Vengeron to Coppet and Nyon.

The current plans don’t see that section being improved until at least 2030.

Politicians in French speaking regions were annoyed following the publication of the five transport projects to go ahead this year are all in German speaking regions.

The Transport Commission says the money – close to a billion francs – needs to be released earlier to improve the overloaded section running between Geneva and Vaud.
