Kite surfing on Lake Geneva should be allowed. Campaigners have submitted a petition to the Geneva Grand Council calling on the government to green light the sport.
It was given federal approval ten years ago, but the final decision remains with the cantons.
The petition is titled, ‘Kitesurfing is not a Crime.’
If Geneva gives the go-ahead, it will be the first canton to allow the sport on a lake.
