An 8-year-old boy died on the slopes in Haute Savoie on Saturday. He lost control while on a blue slope – and ended up on a closed black slope in Grand-Bornand.
The boy suffered a cardio-respiratory arrest. Emergency services tried to resuscitate him, but he died while being taken to hospital.
An investigation is underway.
