After the game, which Basel beat Biel, a supporter was seriously injured at the Wankdorf train station.
The club made the immediate decision to cancel the street celebrations.
The FC Basel president David Degan says ‘we are one family and one team and all our energies should be focussed on this supporter as he is fighting for his life’.
