Aircraft traffic is back to normal at Geneva airport after the air traffic control company, SkyGuide, says it has fixed a problem with the radar screens.
Controllers assure people that there was never any danger, but the screens kept shutting off for about 5 to 15 seconds at random intervals.
The problem led to the decision to cut incoming traffic by about 20%.
A computer update was installed and the system has been stable since. A spokesman says that they’re hopeful the situation has been resolved.
