Geneva rush hour traffic was severely disrupted yesterday afternoon after a 19-year-old scooter rider was hit by a tram in Rive.
Police say he is critically injured.
The accident was at 3.30 on the rue de Rive. Emergency teams set up a tent to treat the victim at the scene.
Tram lines 12 and 17 were disrupted and the TPG ran shuttle services and several bus lines were delayed.
Services weren’t back to normal until just before 8pm.
