The A1 autoroute in Geneva was closed for 2 hours yesterday morning at Palexpo in the Lausanne direction after a pile up.
Police say one car braked for an unknown reason and then was hit from behind by a truck – which itself was hit by a motorhome.
The accident spilt oil across the road.
The closure caused several kilometres of tailbacks while crews cleaned the road.
One driver was taken to hospital.
