Muireann Walsh and Roxane Kokka from ET Cetera joined Katt Cullen in the WRS studio to talk about their bold new production of King Lear by William Shakespeare. Et Cetera are the anglophone student theatre troupe based at UNIL/EPFL in Lausanne.
The show runs from April 22nd to 25th over the Easter break – and it’s not just for students!
A powerful tragedy about family, power, and madness, King Lear follows an ageing monarch who divides his kingdom among his daughters, unleashing a chain of betrayal, cruelty, and political chaos. This timeless story speaks to modern audiences with its themes of identity, justice, and the breakdown of authority.
