A survey says that while we are all getting fed up with the coronavirus restrictions – it’s the young that are the most impatient for life to get back to normal.
A survey carried out by the Blick newspaper says 67% of those under 50 want bars and restaurants opened by April 1st at the latest – a sizable number of that figure would prefer March 22nd.
There’s even a sizable support for an April opening from those over 50 years old.
There’s more support for an earlier opening in the French speaking areas than the German areas.
The government is still considering opening terraces on the 22nd, more information is due tomorrow.
The sociologist who ran the survey, Sabrina Pfister, says its unsurprising younger people want an earlier opening as they’re the group that is working so the restrictions affect them more than others.
