Worries over lack of bike space on new trains

Cycling campaigners are complaining the new trains being brought into service do not have enough space for bikes.

Swiss Federal Railways unveiled the new trains last week.

On many measures, they’re a major improvement. More toilets, carpet throughout, better access for the disabled.

But Pro Vélo says there needs to be more space for bikes. Swiss Federal Railways says up to three seats are lost to bike places.

In another improvement: there will be sockets to charge your electric bike while you take the train.
