A buyer of a VW vehicle has won a court case in Geneva to cancel his sales contact and the money he paid must be paid back.
He bought a VW Touran 1.6 diesel in 2013.
Following the emissions scandal, the car was found to be breaking nitrogen oxide levels laws.
The court ruled the buyer was entitled to his money back as the car creates a legal risk for the owner for driving a non-compliant car.
The VW dealer AMAG says it could appeal the decision.
