Vaud's tallest building now open

The Tilia Tower, Vaud's tallest residential building at 85 metres, has officially opened in Prilly's Malley district

The 26-storey structure uses a mixed timber and concrete design, with Jura wood and a low-carbon concrete developed by the EPFL.

Rentals for the 222 flats began last spring, alongside 160 coliving units.

The building also houses offices, shops, music studios and a 250-square-metre loft created with the Montreux Jazz Festival.

Around 70 percent of the space is already occupied.
