Lausanne benefit for Crans Montana fire victim

The Alix Perroud Foundation hosted a benefit evening at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne last night, in memory of a young woman who died in the Crans-Montana fire

The foundation now supports around forty young survivors of the blaze with non-medical help — covering what health insurance will not.

Its projects, organisers say, are built around needs identified by survivors themselves in the Valais region.

Thursday's gala is a clear  sign that the community is still processing a tragedy that touched dozens of families.
