Swiss Federal Railways arranged for a special stop to allow a confused French passenger to get off.
The traveller, known only as Florent, wanted to take a train from Cornavin to Annecy. While he was on the right platform, he was a bit early and boarded. But he was on a special football supporters service, running direct non-stop to Zurich.
He messaged friends, saying the atmosphere was a bit weird – and people were smoking on board.
After speaking to a conductor - the mistake was realized. It was arranged the train would make an unscheduled stop in Nyon to allow him to get off.
