Traffic should flow normally on the A1 at Vengeron from now on as workers have fixed the bulge that formed on the road on Tuesday.
Rain water flooded a small tunnel being built under the road to carry cabling – it then forced up the carriage way 22cm – leading to its closure.
Traffic will now have to contend with the roadworks that are going on around Grand Saconnex – they’re not going anywhere for months yet.
