Switzerland and France are tweaking their shared border a little.
On Tuesday in Bern, the two countries signed three agreements to officially adjust boundaries around Geneva, specifically in the Hermance, Foron and Perly-Certoux areas.
The changes mostly follow the natural shifts caused by river restoration work and make room for a new cross-border tram line to Saint-Julien-en-Genevois.
Both governments say it’s just about keeping the maps accurate - no one’s gaining or losing land, just swapping equal bits.
