16 West African crocodiles bred in Lausanne have arrived in Morocco to reintroduce the species 60 years after they disappeared.
They were bred at the Aquatis Aquarium and are now around 2 years old and a meter long.
After being carefully packed, they were released during the night so they weren’t exposed to the daytime heat.
The aquarium’s director, Michael Ansermet, said everything’s gone well.
