The Swiss People’s Party branch in Sion in canton Valais have filed a formal complaint after one of their campaign posters was defaced.
The poster, which featured six candidates, has the word 'Nazi’ scrawled on their foreheads and Hitler type moustaches drawn in.
The Party said it was an attack on democratic values.
One SVP councillor says they are regularly targeted with verbal attacks and property damage.
