The Swiss People’s Party is demanding an urgent parliamentary inquiry to examine how data about the pandemic is collected and analysed.
The long-time lockdown sceptic party criticised the Federal Health Office last week for publishing infection rates that seemed to miss a whole day.
It also says there are no clear numbers on how many unvaccinated people are in intensive care compared to the jabbed and figures on Covid patients in hospital are skewed because everyone entering hospital are tested even if the reason for their admittance was not Covid related.
In some cases, the party says that accounts for half of supposed Covid patients.
