Suspect fake pass sellers to stay locked-up

BAG

The four people arrested for allegedly selling fake Covid certificates at the Clinque des Grangettes in Geneva have had their pre-trial detention extended.

They were arrested a week ago suspected of selling the fake passes for CHF 400 each. It’s thought they could have sold as many as 200.

They were arrested after they attempted to sell one to an undercover police officer.

Judges have decided they will stay locked up for the next two months as investigations continue to prevent collusion.

There’s no suggestion the clinic was involved in the scam.
