A man who has declared himself a king caused a stir when he drove his own armoured personnel vehicle across the Bundesplatz in Bern over the weekend.
29-year-old Jonas Lauwiner buys abandoned buildings, private roads and forests – and declares them part of his empire.
He even had a coronation.
He’s well known around his native Zug.

He says locals smile and wave as he passes – and it makes him happy.
