No Swimming in the Rhône just yet.
Despiute the warm weather, the river is off-limits from tomorrow to June 6.
Swimming, fishing, boating, and sports are banned along the Rhône and Arve rivers while the Verbois dam is partially emptied.
The operation, led by Geneva Industrial Services, clears sediment build-up which is essential flood prevention for areas like La Jonction.
The river will reopen once cleanup is complete, depending on the weather.
