Swiss Federal Railways has unveiled its first fully renovated InterCity train.
The trains themselves are not new – they’ve been running since the beginning of the century. But they are now unrecognisable.
The seats, carpets and lighting are all new. The toilets have been improved and even mobile phone reception has been improved due to windows with micro-perforated glass.
In all 44 trains will get the same treatment, they’ll be released to the network until 2031.
