The Geneva commune of Plans-les-Ouates has chosen the design of a major sporting venue, which will be of benefit to the whole city.
Authorities sifted through 25 applications from architectural firms from all over the world.
The winner is a Parisian company.
The new centre will have a skating rink, swimming pool and tennis, squash and badminton courts.
The project will cost CHF 250m and should be ready by 2030.
