A mother will have to pay several hundred francs in fines and court costs after being convicted of assault after biting her daughter.
A family argument broke out at the family home in canton Schwyz last year. The woman’s 19-year-old daughter wanted to go out to a concert – but her mother said no.
The daughter pushed passed her and then the mother bit her arm with such force it left a strong bruise through clothes and a jacket.
The daughter brought a criminal complaint which was upheld.
