More than three quarters of respondents say funding should be maintained or increased.
Support for aid remains strong across the political spectrum, including among a majority on the right.
Many also reject shifting funds away from poorer regions, with nearly half opposing cuts to sub-Saharan Africa to boost support for Ukraine.
Parliament has already reduced the current aid budget, approving just over CHF 11bn for the 2025 to 2028 period.
