More jabs at Geneva pharmacies

Pharmacies in Geneva can now offer a wider range of vaccinations on the premises, without prescription.

A change in the rules means pharmacies can now offer jabs against hepatitis A and B, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough and others.

Authorities say that not all vaccines are covered by basic insurance.

But the protection against the human papillomavirus (HPV) is being offered as part of a cantonal plan.
