Two people have been found dead in canton Valais after being caught up in an avalanche a week ago.
A Belgian and a French woman, both aged 42, went missing near Ovronnaz. Police say they believe they were caught up in an avalanche at 2,100 meters which crashed down the mountain for a kilometre.
Authorities are now trying to recover the bodies.
