A man has been posing as a police officer in canton Aargau – stopping cars, asking if drivers have been drinking and warning them to slow down.
The 21-year-old was wearing a high visibility vest and pulled cars over in his own vehicle by using his hazard lights.
He demanded to see drivers ID and their licence.
He's been fined nearly CHF 5,000 and because he was also on probation for other offences, he will go to jail for a month.
