A man will go on trial accused of the murder of a 35-year-old man in Geneva in May 2016.
The victim was shot 11 times in a tea-room in Vernier.
The 40 year old man is also being prosecuted for endangering passers-by.
Prosecutors say the man went in search of the victim, the two men knew each other well and were former friends.
The gunman was arrested the same day and has been in custody since.
