Geneva fire fighters battled a major blaze last night in Servette.
A garage was already engulfed in flames when the fire brigade arrived, which was within seconds of the first call as the fire station is less than 50 meters away.
It took an hour to bring it under control.
The building has been gutted. No one was injured.
