A weekend story in the Blick newspaper has caused outrage – and reaffirmed faith in people after an outcry.
A lesbian couple from Sankt Gallen told the paper that a professional photographer cancelled the booking for their wedding in May, as he said he only worked for heterosexual couples.
Rebecca and Chiara say they’ve been overwhelmed by supportive messages from readers – and other professional photographers have contacted the paper to say they would take pictures of their wedding for free.
The couple say it’s a shame that homophobic discrimination is still part of life. They’re considering legal action against the original photographer.
